How will the high street / online share settle?

IMRG data shows that the shops reopening in mid-June 2020 did not lead to an immediate drop in online sales growth, in fact it hit a high at that point; when everything else opened up (restaurants, pubs, holidays etc early July) there was a far more notable impact on growth as people could spend money on other areas.

Join IMRG, Amazon Shipping and Avalara for a special virtual St George’s Day lunch, where 15-20 senior retailers will come together to discuss the initial impact of the stores reopening following the third lockdown. What are the early signs of shifts in customer behaviour, how are online growth rates performing now they are comparing against pandemic rates from 2020, and what are other retailers’ expectations for the rest of the year?

At this event we will discuss:

  • Expectations for demand and spending patterns as 2021 unfolds
  • How retailers structure their delivery propositions
  • How international trade is rebalancing post-Brexit

*Please note that spaces on this event are only available to senior retailers, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
